Prior to forming Wolf Point, Mr. Grimm was a Senior Vice President at GE Capital, where he sourced, underwrote, and managed private equity fund investments and equity co-investments. He also advised GE Capital’s European investment team on private equity fund due diligence and portfolio monitoring. Previously, he was a Vice President at One Equity Partners, the private equity arm of JPMorgan Chase & Co. (formerly Bank One), where he managed the private equity fund portfolio for the JPMorgan Retirement Plan. He also oversaw private equity fund investments for the bank’s Principal Investments business and developed risk mitigating hedging strategies for the portfolio. He started his career at Cargill Investor Services, where he specialized in equity derivatives and launched an options trading desk.
Mr. Grimm has an MBA from the Simon Business School at the University of Rochester and a BA in Economics from the University of Chicago. Mr. Grimm is a CFA charterholder.
Previously, she was a Research Coordinator at Robert W. Baird in its Equity Research Department, where she managed data analytics for the Biotech, Healthcare, Internet, and Software/SaaS Research Analyst Teams.
Ms. Grimm Blauw received her BS in Science and Technology Studies from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2017. She is currently a candidate in the CFA Program.
Prior to forming Wolf Point, Mr. Markus was a Senior Vice President at GE Capital. At GE, he was responsible for evaluating, underwriting and managing private equity fund and direct investments. He also led select private equity fund secondary sales. Prior to joining GE Capital, he worked at One Equity Partners, the private equity arm of JPMorgan Chase & Co. (formerly Bank One) and was responsible for underwriting private equity fund and direct investments, as well as co-managing a post-venture public equity portfolio. Mr. Markus also worked in the Private Placements and Retail Banking Departments at Bank One/First Chicago. Previously, he worked as an attorney for two Chicago-based law firms and a private corporation.
Mr. Markus received an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, a JD from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law and a BA from the University of Michigan. Mr. Markus is a CFA charterholder.
